In my artwork titled "She," I wanted to create a series of powerful female warriors that embody strength and reputation. The primary medium I used for this series is acrylic paint, complemented by Posca pens and watercoloring. To begin the process, I would either sketch my ideas in my sketchbook or digitally on my iPad. Once I had a design I was satisfied with, I would transfer it onto a canvas using transfer paper. To enhance the overall aesthetic, I decided to incorporate a pink background that would allow for seamless blending. Starting with an underlying layer, I gradually added more detail to bring the warriors to life. Each painting in the series showcases a different female warrior, each with her own unique story and presence. Through "She," I aimed to celebrate the strength and resilience of women, highlighting their significant role in history and society. These warrior paintings serve as a visual representation of the power and reputation that women possess.
