Kathryn & Madison’s entry in the Dragon On The Lake Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest.
The 4ever11 NFT Project began in my small, humble town of Lake Orion, MI (United States); at the center of town is the Orion Art Center (OAC). 51 weeks of the year, The OAC serves as a quiet place for artists to enjoy a supportive, educational community. But every August, the Orion Art Center hosts a week-long festival called “Dragon on the Lake” (named for the 100-year legend that is our town’s mascot.) It is an event full of food, entertainment, and of course, art!
It is at this festival that my daughter and goddaughter entered and won their division in the Dragon on the Lake Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest. (The full story about how this event inspired the 4ever11 project can be found, here.)
Through the mission of our small town art center, my girls received recognition (and prize money!) for their talented collaboration. This inspired them even more… and eventually led to the vision for 4ever11.
In addition to celebrating and elevating artists, 4ever11 seeks to celebrate and elevate organizations that build educational and enrichment opportunities -and communities- for artists by donating 11% of our net proceeds directly to organizations like our Orion Art Center. There are no strings attached, no quid pro quo, just our monetary contributions along with a heartfelt “Thank you!” for making our communities beautiful and inspiring the artists of the future.
We hope and encourage all 4ever11 partners to become more directly involved by encouraging their members to submit art to the 4ever11 Collection. It’s a great way to encourage their individual community members and bring recognition and publicity to your organization. Furthermore, 4ever11 is always open to future collaborations that help further elevate the arts in local communities.
Partnering with 4ever11 is easy. Simply complete and submit this Partnership Request Form. Partners will be selected based on available spots and alignment with the values of 4ever11. After partners are selected and notified, they will receive a donation based on project performance. Donations are issued twice a year.
